Whispers of Light

St. Augustine Lighthouse | Original Painting by Joan Mendez

A familiar landmark, reimagined through an extraordinary sky.

Inspired by the historic St. Augustine Lighthouse in Florida, Whispers of Light transforms a quiet coastal afternoon into a vibrant expression of color, movement, and imagination.

Sweeping ribbons of golden yellow, fiery orange, brilliant blue, and soft white dance across the sky, surrounding the iconic black-and-white lighthouse. Rich greenery grounds the composition, creating a beautiful contrast between the stillness of the landmark and the energy of the colors above.

More than a coastal landscape, this original painting celebrates the beauty of seeing familiar places through an artist’s eyes.

A one-of-a-kind original artwork by Joan Mendez, created to bring color, character, and a touch of Florida’s coastal spirit into your space.
